By preserving the three Royal Palm trees originally planted on the construction site, this project displays a respect for the ecological environment as it develops the already cramped Taipei City. The minimalist-style driveway, outer walls and earthen ramp together turn the distant hills into a part of the private yards, so the infinitely extended yard is perfectly merged into its surroundings. The foot-path, hand-paved with Rhodonite by the client, offers a refreshing experience of reality, notably the relationship between humanity and the land.
